Confluence’s small, but critical, operating costs are funded through unrestricted or general support grants from individuals, foundations, partners and corporations. Every member of Confluence’s board provides financial support in addition to their time and knowledge.  

We keep our operating costs lean thanks to in-kind support, a dedicated board that gives both time and money, and an eclectic community of professionals who lend their expertise who support our mission.

We also raise funds annually to support our conservation program work and partner on-the-ground actions through unrestricted and restricted donations and grants from individuals, foundations, non-profit organizations, government agencies, multilateral organizations, and corporations. 

And in a true testament to the value of our work, our partners regularly include Confluence in their own fundraising proposals and budgets. Because when they succeed, we all move forward—together.
